12° 0.1′ N · 120° 3.8′ E

A reef-fringed anchorage on Busuanga's south coast north of Tangat Island that puts four or five of the Coron wrecks within dinghy range.

Practical

Hackingfamily: 12 00.14N 120 03.78E, 50 ft (15 m) mud; reasonable protection from most directions. Most charts do not show the extensive reefs here, so satellite imagery is almost a necessity, and watch for many pearl farms. In strong southerlies move further into the bay to the north or into the bay to the east behind the tip of Tangat Island. Wrecks from here: Ekkai Maru 1.7 nm, Kogyo Maru 1.9 nm, Olympia Maru 1.9 nm, Irako 2.5 nm, each with mooring lines at both ends (day use in light wind only, not overnight). Cell (2022): Globe edge, Smart 3G.
