Tangat Island East and SE Anchorages

Deep anchorages on the east side of Tangat Island next to the snorkelable Tangat gunboat wreck, with good snorkelling round the SE corner.

Practical

Lifelines (2008): east side of Tangat at 11 58.54N 120 04.75E in 25 m, with the Tangat gunboat wreck in 10 m nearby; SE corner at 11 57.6N 120 05.0E in 22 m, good snorkelling. Arnak (2010) anchored on the north side at 11 59.431N 120 03.702E in 17 m behind a lip in the reef inside the pearl farm: by day it is fine, but you need permission from the boss in the white hut to stay the night; very sheltered from NE winds and ideal for diving the bay's wrecks by dinghy.
