Riscalillo Anchorage (Huatulco)
15° 41.8′ N · 96° 13.5′ W · approximate
A small undeveloped beach at the far western end of the Huatulco bays, just west of Jicaral (Osprey) Cove and reached by land only on a dirt road.
Practical
Approximate: set about 120 m off the OpenStreetMap outline of Riscalillo beach. No cruiser anchoring report was found for this edition: depth, holding and protection are unverified; the beach faces south and the coast is open to Pacific swell, so treat it as a calm-weather day stop and sound carefully. Jicaral Cove next door and Chachacual a few miles east have current cruiser reports. Within the Huatulco area: respect national-park rules (no fishing or collecting, no anchoring on coral).
Best for
Solitude on a calm day west of San Agustín
