A cove tucked by Punta Perico on the back (east) side of Isla Carmen, a few miles from Bahía Salinas, with a goat trail up the ridge and sunsets over the island.

Coordinate is approximate: about 140 m off the shore and 400 m west-north-west of OpenStreetMap's 'Punta Perico' cape (25.96583, -111.06782), checked in-water against the OpenStreetMap coastline; no published waypoint was found—sound in. The Cruising Club of America's 2024 flotilla plan names Punta Perico with Bahía Salinas as the back-side alternatives to Puerto Ballandra. s/v Exit (2025) found it more protected than the open cliffside spots on this coast and saw a dolphin mother and calf alongside; hike partway up the goat trail on the ridge. No services. Isla Carmen is private above the high-tide line. CONANP protected-area fee applies: a Loreto Bay National Park day pass (bracelet) was MX$215 per person in 2025, and the annual Conservation Passport (MX$3,620 in 2025) covers every federal protected area; buy online at descubreanp.conanp.gob.mx or from the rangers at La Dársena in Loreto, and carry proof aboard.
