Practical

Coordinate is the anchored position (26°03.25'N, 111°06.204'W) logged by the yacht BlueJacket in May 2012, in the bay west of V-Cove (OpenStreetMap's Punta la Lancha cape is further east at 26.05722, -111.06956); checked in-water against the OpenStreetMap coastline. About 18 ft; open to the north—a north-east swell rolled BlueJacket at 1:15 am and she set a stern anchor to face it. Diving: the point to the north-north-west has steep walls and cracked spires; west of the anchorage it flattens into a boulder field, then large spires and walls. A SAIL charter skipper scouted it as a multi-boat alternative to V-Cove for a blowy north-west night. Shelter details are thin—check the forecast and the bay's exposure before overnighting.
