26° 4.5′ N · 111° 3.5′ W · approximate

Practical

Coordinate is approximate: about 290 m off the GeoNames/OpenStreetMap 'Punta Lobos' cape (26.07243, -111.05956), checked in-water against the OpenStreetMap coastline. California Diving News notes the site is more sheltered from wind than others in the area—useful when the Coronado sites are blown out. No anchorage information was found; dive from a tended boat. Carmen is privately owned: do not land without authorization. CONANP protected-area fee applies: a Loreto Bay National Park day pass (bracelet) was MX$215 per person in 2025, and the annual Conservation Passport (MX$3,620 in 2025) covers every federal protected area; buy online at descubreanp.conanp.gob.mx or from the rangers at La Dársena in Loreto, and carry proof aboard.
