The rocky points of Bahía Maguey, a favorite dive for octopus, turtles, lobsters, rockfish and many rays, with pinnacles off the point for more experienced divers.

Approximate: placed at the mouth of Bahía Maguey (OSM bay relation 1700857 centroid 15.7312, -96.1492); the exact site is not published. Buceo Huatulco lists Punta Maguey (octopus, turtles, lobsters, rockfish, many rays); Huatulco Dive Center lists Punta Maguey and Maguey Pinnacles (beginner), Medregal Point (beginner) and Morros Maguey (advanced). Maguey is one of the busiest beaches in the park; stay out of the swim zone and anchor on sand (see 'Bahía Maguey').
