Bahía El Órgano
15° 44.1′ N · 96° 8.7′ W
A small, undeveloped bay entirely within the national park, with a 240 m virgin beach and few visitors: more sheltered than neighboring Maguey and a favorite of long-term Huatulco cruisers.
Practical
Position is the OpenStreetMap centroid of Bahía El Órgano. A 2025 crew moved here from Maguey for its better shelter ahead of forecast Tehuantepec winds. Practical Sailor's author (anchored months in Huatulco) names Organo and Chachacual as favorites, both a taxi ride from La Crucecita via the highway. National-park rules apply. No services.
