The sand spit tying Isla Requesón to the mainland, with a very shallow cove on one side and a larger one on the other — a classic Baja beach-camping spot.

Coordinate from OpenStreetMap (Playa El Requesón). Spit is walkable at lower tides. Palapa camping spaces; no services. A 1978 account describes digging butter clams by feel in waist-deep water here — today a Mexican fishing licence is required for any harvesting.
