Isla San Diego

25° 12.0′ N · 110° 42.0′ W

A barren, uninhabited 1.5 km sliver of rock in mid-channel, 9.5 km north of Isla San José and 6 km south-south-east of Isla Santa Cruz, beside the tiny Isla La Habana.

Practical

Coordinate is the island centroid from OpenStreetMap (GeoNames gives 25.19927, -110.69916). Area 0.563 km², up to 500 m wide, about 22 km off the peninsula (Wikipedia). No sheltered anchorage is documented in the sources used here—treat as a daytime landmark and give it a wide berth at night. Part of the Gulf of California island chain protected by CONANP.
