San Telmo Anchorage
25° 19.6′ N · 110° 57.3′ W
A little-visited bay of 'funky' rock formations about two miles north of Los Gatos, below Punta San Telmo.
Practical
Coordinate is the anchored position (25°19.6'N, 110°57.25'W) logged by the yacht BlueJacket in April 2012—18 ft over sand—just south of Punta San Telmo (GeoNames 25.32861, -110.95667); checked in-water against the OpenStreetMap coastline. Canadian Yachting found it by accident while looking for Los Gatos and stayed to scramble among the rocks. Same exposure caveats as the rest of this coast: fine in settled weather, uncomfortable in a strong northerly (Club Cruceros). No services. A sea cave on the north side of the point is big enough to take a dinghy inside (BlueJacket).
