Agua Verde South Anchorage Beach Snorkel

25° 30.9′ N · 111° 4.0′ W · approximate

Rocky reef edges a short swim from the white beach of Agua Verde's south anchorage—the snorkel Blue Pacific's rally fleet rated 'excellent'.

Practical

Coordinate is approximate: just off the village beach on the south side of the bay (OpenStreetMap 'Agua Verde' beach way centre 25.51504, -111.06974), checked in-water against the OpenStreetMap coastline; individual reef heads are not mapped. Anchor in the south anchorage and swim in; watch for pangas launching from the beach. Spearfishing has given mixed results here (Practical Sailor). Reefs guard the southern approach to the bay—enter in good light.
