Roca Solitaria (Agua Verde)

25° 31.9′ N · 111° 3.8′ W

Islote la Piedra Solitaria, the lone rock standing off the mouth of Agua Verde bay—the landmark that tells you you have found the anchorage.

Practical

Coordinate is OpenStreetMap's 'Islote la Piedra Solitaria'. Give it and the reefs on the southern approach a clear berth; Canadian Yachting describe threading two reefs on the way in from the south using identifiable rocks as leading marks. Snorkeling claims for the rock itself were not confirmed in the sources used here; the beach-side reefs of the south anchorage are the documented snorkeling (Blue Pacific Yachting).
