Espíritu Santo East-Side Sea Caves
24° 31.4′ N · 110° 20.1′ W
The steep east coast of Espíritu Santo and Partida is riddled with sea caves and arches that you explore by dinghy or kayak on calm days.
Practical
Position: the 'Arch' attraction on the east coast in OpenStreetMap; stacked-rock formations lie farther south at 24.5046 N, 110.3058 W. Noforeignland's Sea of Cortez guide notes sea caves explored by dinghy on the east coast. Cruisers Academy: from the El Portico anchorage on the east side of Partida the caves are accessible and not tide-dependent; from Caleta Partida you can reach them through the shallow inter-island cut by dinghy only near high tide. Go only in calm conditions - the east side is exposed to N and E swell. Inside Archipiélago Espíritu Santo National Park: every person aboard needs the daily CONANP bracelet (225 MXN/person/day on the CONANP page) or an annual Conservation Passport.
