El Portico Anchorage (Isla Partida East)

A small anchorage on the east side of Isla Partida just north of the Caleta Partida cut - the best place in the archipelago to hide from a westerly Coromuel.
Practical
Position: Cruisers Academy anchor pin (24°32'08.6"N 110°21'52.8"W). Cruisers Academy held well overnight in 20+ kn; swell blocked by the island cut. Sea caves along this coast are accessible from here and not tide-dependent. OCG also suggests the east side of Partida (limited space) as the Coromuel escape from Caleta Partida. Open to N and E - not a norther anchorage. Inside Archipiélago Espíritu Santo National Park: every person aboard needs the daily CONANP bracelet (225 MXN/person/day on the CONANP page) or an annual Conservation Passport.
