Bahía San Carlos (Pacific Baja) Anchorage
29° 36.9′ N · 115° 28.8′ W · approximate
Fondeadero San Carlos, a broad indent east of Punta San Carlos on the north shore of Bahía Vizcaíno - the least bad of the 'small hopes' for a northbound Basher who can't hold a course outside Sacramento Reef.
Practical
Coordinate is approximate: The Log anchored about a dozen times 1.25 nm north-east of the islet off Punta San Carlos (OSM 29.616 N 115.500 W); the pin sits in the bay east of the point - confirm depth on arrival. Approach from the south to avoid breakers off the west shoreline. Shelter from NW only; no services. About 90 nm NNW of Isla Cedros and 70 nm SSE of Isla San Martín.
