Road Bay Port (Anguilla Air & Sea Ports Authority)

18° 11.8′ N · 63° 5.6′ W · approximate

Road Bay is Anguilla's cargo port, run by the Anguilla Air & Sea Ports Authority (AASPA), which also runs the airport, Blowing Point ferry port and the Corito Bay fuel port. Expect ro-ro and freight ships working the south end of the anchorage most days.

Practical

Coordinate approx: south end of Road Bay, where a local guide places the container-ship berth; not surveyed, so read your chart. AASPA operates Road Bay (cargo from neighbouring islands and Puerto Rico), Blowing Point (passenger ferries), Corito Bay (sole bulk fuel port) and Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport (2018 interview). A new Road Bay pier was planned in 2018; completion is not confirmed in the sources. Anchor either side of the informally marked approach channel to the ro-ro dock and keep it clear. Yachts clear in with Customs & Immigration at the dinghy dock, not with the port authority. Contact details: verify locally.
