Fuel & Water near Road Bay
18° 11.9′ N · 63° 5.5′ W · approximate
Fuel and water are the weak point of an Anguilla stop: there is no fuel dock or marina, so most yachts arrive with full tanks from St Martin.
Practical
Coordinate approx: the Sandy Ground pier, as the place to start asking. Reports conflict. A 2019 cruiser found no filling station at Road Bay, while SailScanner (2025) lists fuel and water at Road Bay. The nearest road service stations (OpenStreetMap) are on the main roads, for example in The Valley and near Long Bay village, so plan on jerry cans by taxi or hire car. Laundry is expensive. Noonsite describes yachting facilities as very basic: major repairs and serious provisioning mean a trip back to St Martin/Sint Maarten.
Best for
Planning fuel and water before you leave St Martin
