La Coche
15° 50.2′ N · 61° 36.5′ W
A narrow uninhabited island about 800 m long south of the bay, with sheer cliffs facing the Dominica Passage and a sandy slope toward Terre-de-Haut - a landmark you pass on every southern approach.
Practical
Position is the islet outline in OSM. 150 m wide, 750 m west of Grand-Îlet, separated from it by Passe des Dames and from Les Augustins by the Passe des Souffleurs - both described as dangerous passages (Wikipedia). No anchorage sources; admire from the water.
