15° 50.4′ N · 61° 36.9′ W · approximate
Two dives at the southern edge of the archipelago: three coral tables at Les Augustins holding the whole Caribbean cast in one place, and the canyons, arches and fissures under the Virgin-shaped rock of La Vierge.
Practical
Position approx: the Les Augustins rocks (OSM coastline way). Les Augustins 14 m max, N1/OW: French angelfish, porcupinefish, spotted drums. La Vierge 18 m max (most of the dive within 12 m), N1: black triggerfish, angelfish, stingrays, sometimes a turtle (La Dive Bouteille). The rocks border the Passe du Sud-Ouest and the dangerous Passe des Souffleurs - dive from an operator's boat.
