Telendos–Masouri Sea Crossing Race

A popular 1 km open-water swim from Telendos to Masouri beach, run by the Municipality of Kalymnos for 17 years as of 2018 and open to locals and visitors of all ages.

The 2018 race was on Sunday 5 August: sign-up 11am–12:30pm at Stalas Restaurant in Myrties, boat transfer to Telendos, start at 1pm. A Port Authority guard vessel attends, so yachts should keep well clear of the Myrties–Telendos channel during the race. Municipal Sports Department +30 22430 51601. Check current dates. Coordinate is the Masouri finish (approx).
