Pergousa Islet Anchorage (Nisyros)
36° 35.1′ N · 27° 2.5′ E
A low volcanic islet 4.5 nm west-south-west of Mandraki with a fair-weather anchorage in its south-east bay, far from the day-trip boats.
Practical
Anchor over sand between seaweed beds; good holding; open from NE through SW. Sailing Issues reports it second-hand ('we only sailed past'), so approach with care. The islet is made of lava flows and domes capped with pumice from the great Kos eruption (Nisyros Geopark).
Best for
A quiet calm-weather stop west of Nisyros
Season
Settled weather only
