Mylopotamos Beach (East Pelion)

39° 22.5′ N · 23° 12.2′ E

A white-pebble beach with exotic, clear water below Tsagarada, split by a rock outcrop into two coves joined by a winding path. A naturally formed rock arch is the highlight from the water.

Practical

The position is the OpenStreetMap Mylopotamos beach way. Greeka says it is reached by road through Tsagarada, with pine shade on the path down, a beach bar and a few tavernas above the beach. A reviewer reported rented loungers at €20 a pair, packed closely together (undated; verify locally). Activities Pelion's boat tour stops here for the rock arch, with snorkel gear supplied. By yacht: calm days only, land by dinghy, and keep clear of swimmers. No depth or holding data was found, and the beach is open to NE wind and swell.

Best for

Snorkelling the rock arch and lunch at the beach bar

Season
