Italian accommodation barge wreck (Lakki Bay)
37° 6.8′ N · 26° 50.0′ E
An Italian accommodation barge, possibly used by officers, sunk in Lakki Bay by German bombers in the same 1943 air campaign that sank the Vasilissa Olga.
Practical
Diving on Greek wrecks is restricted: these are among the 91 modern wrecks the Culture Ministry listed in 2021 for organized, guided dives, so go with the local dive centre (Hydrovius, Krithoni) rather than independently from your yacht, and take nothing. Depth 29–30 m on Hydrovius' site page; the 2021 ministry list gives 41 m for the 'Italian barge ship'. Hydrovius' text says it lies about 100 m from the Queen Olga, but its map pin is further out towards the Lakki entrance, so let the dive centre position you. Coordinate is the Hydrovius dive-map pin.
Best for
Second wreck on a Lakki wreck day
