Gomati Beach (Lemnos)

39° 59.8′ N · 25° 9.0′ E

A long sandy north-coast beach backed by dunes, with an organised section of umbrellas and a beach bar — and the Ammothines desert dunes a short walk west.

Practical

Coordinate is 'Gomati Umbrella Beach' in OpenStreetMap, which lists a €10 sunbed charge (cash or card; verify locally). For anchoring see 'Gomati Bay (Lemnos)' — beware the submerged reef on the NW side of the entrance. A WWII tank wreck is mapped on the shore at 39.99307, 25.14935. Flomari seafood taverna is behind the beach.
