Aspronisi Islet

36° 23.0′ N · 25° 20.9′ E

A tiny uninhabited white-topped islet on the caldera's southwest rim, between Thirasia and Akrotiri. It is a dive site, and it divides the two southwest entrances.

Practical

Coordinates: islet centre (OSM). Greeka lists 9 dive sites around Aspronisi from 7-30 m, with walls of volcanic rock, nudibranchs, groupers and barracuda; dive with a Santorini centre. OpenSeaMap shows a fringe of rocks all around it (about 36.378-36.388 N 25.343-25.353 E), so give it at least 300 m clearance when transiting.
