Tenukupara Quay (Ahe)
14° 32.3′ S · 146° 21.4′ W
Ahe's masonry supply-ship wharf, the dinghy landing for the village, lit at night by solar lamps and busy with locals fishing, chatting and playing music late into the evening.
Practical
Sea-seek position 14°32.26'S 146°21.43'W. Use the south side of the jetty, which has 3-4 m for coming alongside, but the ship has priority (Dory, Mareva Nui and others call several times a month). Easy dinghy landing (2017). Elvira Sweden took delivery of new batteries here with help from villagers (2023).
Best for
Dinghy landing and freight pickup
