Tahanea East Rim Anchorage

16° 53.7′ S · 144° 34.6′ W

An anchorage on Tahanea's east side with a small landing beach and motus that stretch for miles, good for walks on both shores and for the atoll fruit dove.

Practical

Position from Narama (June 2011): good snorkeling, a small landing beach nearby, and a motu that 'stretches for miles and is great for walking on both sides'. Many birds nest on the eastern motus, including the atoll fruit dove.
