No Name (Klein Bonaire Dive Site)

12° 10.1′ N · 68° 18.3′ W

The reef straight off No Name Beach, Klein Bonaire's water-taxi beach: scattered coral heads on sand in the shallows, yellowhead jawfish poking out of the rubble, and a slope dropping to 30 m+.

Practical

Depth 30-100 ft (Tourism Corporation Bonaire); typical 8-15 m (bonaire.com). Busiest site on Klein Bonaire because the water taxis land here - stay clear of the marked landing zone and boat lane. Rain runoff can cloud the water and NE wind (roughly December-April) roughens the north side. Not the same as the separate 'No Name Beach' snorkel/beach entry. Boat dive only. Yachts may not anchor anywhere around Klein Bonaire: go by dinghy from the Kralendijk moorings (about 1 km across the channel) and tie to the yellow STINAPA dive mooring (2-hour limit, max 13 m, by the bow; STINAPA), or join a dive-shop boat. Klein Bonaire has no facilities; boats landing people ashore must use the marked landing zone at No Name Beach (STINAPA, 2018-19). Nature fee and SCTLD rules apply (STINAPA). Trade-wind chop in the channel and north swells can make the dinghy ride wet; north-side sites are cancelled in strong NE wind (bonaire.com). Coordinate: bonaire.com map pin, about 30 m off the OSM north shoreline and consistent with Divers Guide spacing to Sampler and Knife.
