Ebo's Special / Jerry's Jam (Klein Bonaire)

12° 10.1′ N · 68° 18.9′ W · approximate

A sheltered north-side Klein Bonaire site where a sand plateau at 8-10 m gives way to a reef wall from about 20 m, with small caves full of spiny lobster and groupers.

Practical

Depth 8-38 m (bonaire.com). Little current thanks to the sheltered north-side position, but strong NE wind cancels trips. Silt in the caves - fin gently. Also listed as Jerry's Jam (bonaire.com). Boat dive only. Yachts may not anchor anywhere around Klein Bonaire: go by dinghy from the Kralendijk moorings (about 1 km across the channel) and tie to the yellow STINAPA dive mooring (2-hour limit, max 13 m, by the bow; STINAPA), or join a dive-shop boat. Klein Bonaire has no facilities; boats landing people ashore must use the marked landing zone at No Name Beach (STINAPA, 2018-19). Nature fee and SCTLD rules apply (STINAPA). Trade-wind chop in the channel and north swells can make the dinghy ride wet; north-side sites are cancelled in strong NE wind (bonaire.com). Coordinate approx: bonaire.com map pin, cross-checked against Divers Guide spacing (0.16 km from Leonora's Reef, 0.23 km from Knife, 0.98 km from Carl's Hill) and placed about 70 m off the OSM north shoreline; pick the named mooring by eye.
