Isla Arena Wall (Rosario South Dive)

10° 8.6′ N · 75° 43.7′ W · approximate

The drop-off at the edge of the deep southern coral platform around lonely Isla Arena, where one dive listing describes grouper, black-coral trees and schooling bar jacks over a wall to about 35 m.

Practical

Coordinate approximate: placed just southwest of the Isla Arena islet polygon and its light (OSM 10.14495, -75.72692); the operator picks the exact drop. Spanish Wikipedia puts Isla Arena alone on the deep coral platform south of the group. Depth and marine life come from a single online dive listing (TripBase: wall to 35 m, grouper, black coral, bar jacks), so confirm the site, depth and current with your operator before planning. Diving Planet gives Rosario conditions overall as 5–40 m depth, 10–20 m visibility, light to moderate current and about 28 °C (82 °F) water. No anchorage is published at Isla Arena and the islet is exposed - go by dive boat or leave someone aboard on a sand patch in calm weather. Nearest chamber: Hospital Naval, Bocagrande. Park rules: don't touch, stand on or anchor on coral; no collecting; dive only with an operator licensed for the park (Parques Nacionales).
