An easy in, easy out 'get out of the wind' anchorage under a prominent bluff on the south coast, with a fishermen's cooperative ashore.
Practical
Position is Virgintino's waypoint just west of the anchorage (17 51.80N, 077 44.90W). Anchor in 15 ft, good holding, poor visibility to the bottom; a swell can roll the boat. Useful eastbound. Avoid nearby Port Kaiser (industrial bauxite port, high security) except in an emergency.
