The Guna family settlement on Chichime runs a simple bar and kitchen among the palms, selling cold beer and warm bread to boats and backpackers; one of the few places in the western islands to sit ashore with a drink.

Spirit of Argo (2016): 'great little touristy island, but very friendly', with a Guna bar, cold beer and warm bread; Tahina Expedition (2010) found a bar/restaurant and a volleyball court on the main island. Land the dinghy on the beach by the structures and ask permission; expect a small landing fee. Busy with day-tour boats from Carti in high season. Cash only, small bills.
