Bahía del Rincón (day anchorage)

The 5-mile bay between Cabo Cabrón and Cabo Samaná, ringed by mountains, behind the famous Playa Rincón. It is a gorgeous lunch stop but too open to the east to spend the night.

Waypoint from the Virgintino DR guide (~2015), which says: do not anchor here except as a day stop, because the bay is too open to weather from the east. Tuck into the lee where conditions allow, land on the beach and leave before afternoon.
