A quiet anchorage off the south-west end of Royal Island, near the island's small resort, well protected from northerly winds.

Coordinate from the ActiveCaptain 'Royal Island West' marker (in the water, about 470 m off the shore). The 2015 reviewer had the place to themselves, the anchor 'dug in right away' and they report great protection from anything from the north. Open to the south and west across the bank; move into the main Royal Island harbour if the wind goes there. Depths are not published; sound in. The shore and resort are private.
