PADI lists it as a PADI Resort with air fills, equipment rental and service (regulators, BCDs, computers), courses including Deep, Night and Underwater Navigator, and Dive Against Debris. It also runs half- or full-day snorkel trips by boat to a bat cave with a picnic at Big Winding Bay. A 2006 Undercurrent report found most sites within about 20 minutes of the dock, a spectacular wall with swim-throughs into the abyss, 75-100 ft visibility, and a favourite site called Hole-in-the-Wall. Other Cat Island sites named by the Out Islands board include First Basin Wall (100-200 ft), Third Basin Reef (wall at 110-130 ft), Blue Hole (80-100 ft), The Tunnels (about 30 ft) and White Hole Reef. Access is by road; the resort is on the windward coast and has no cruiser anchorage in front. Do not dive the exposed Atlantic side from a cruising dinghy without local knowledge; calmer snorkelling is on the west-coast reefs (Fernandez Bay, Orange Creek Point, off Bennett's Harbour point). The operator describes over 20 miles of wall along the southern tip from Columbus Point to Devil's Point, starting at about 40 ft and dropping to about 3,000 ft.
