A low-key beachfront resort of bungalows and villas on the Calabash Bay beach that welcomes cruisers at its bar and Beach House restaurant. Free conch fritters at happy hour have become a Calabash tradition.
Practical
ActiveCaptain (2024): cruisers welcome any time at the bar; happy hour 5 pm to 6 pm; leave dinghies at the north end of the resort, clear of the rental houses. Laundry is for resort guests only. The activity centre books snorkel trips, bonefishing, deep-sea and reef fishing, dives with a PADI divemaster, Hobie Cat sailing and a 5-hour Sandy Cay iguana tour (9 am to 2 pm).
