Sunday School (Buccoo)
11° 10.8′ N · 60° 48.4′ W · approximate
Tobago's weekly Sunday-night street party in Buccoo village: the Buccooneers Steel Orchestra plays pan early in the evening, then DJs take over with soca, dancehall and reggae late into the night.
Practical
Position is the Buccoo village waterfront by the piers, from OpenStreetMap (approx). Every Sunday night. The Buccooneers have played weekly at Sunday School for more than 25 years (Trinidad & Tobago Television, August 2026). No source opened gave a firm start time; ask locally, and expect the steelpan set first and the dance crowd later. From Store Bay, take a taxi rather than the dinghy: the water between is the Buccoo Reef restricted area. Noonsite advises that petty theft and drink tampering rise at festivals and parties, so do not leave drinks unattended and do not walk alone late at night.
Best for
A Sunday night of steelpan, street food and dancing
