Mount Irvine Wall Dive

11° 11.8′ N · 60° 48.1′ W · approximate

An easy, sheltered wall and reef on the Caribbean side by Mount Irvine Bay, known for seahorses, batfish, octopus and moray eels; a favourite night dive.

Practical

Position is approximate, on the west side of Mount Irvine Bay, derived from the DAN description 'near Mount Irvine Bay' and the OpenStreetMap coastline; ask a dive operator for the site. DAN gives 18-45 ft with calm water and some surge above 20 ft; Discover Trinidad & Tobago notes hawksbill turtles. Caribbean-side sites have almost no current, unlike the Atlantic side.

Best for

Relaxed macro diving and night dives
