Sandy Island Lighthouse Dive Site

A steep reef slope dropping from about 7 m to 23 m off the eastern end of Sandy Island, with barracuda, snapper, flamingo tongues, morays, turtles, rays and lobster. Good for all levels.

Coordinate from Dive Carriacou's own dive-site map (verified). Slight current at times. Inside the SIOBMPA, where divers pay a US$3.50 daily MPA fee through the dive shop. Book with Dive Carriacou (pick-up from yachts in Tyrrel Bay; WhatsApp +1 473 424 2077), Deefer Diving or Lumbadive. Fly a diver-down flag if you dive independently; check current MPA rules on private diving with the rangers.
