Mabouya Garden Dive Site

A gently sloping reef off Mabouya Island, west of Hillsborough Bay, 8-25 m deep, so thick with fish that the shop calls it 'fish soup'. Hard corals, giant soft corals, stingrays, angelfish, porcupinefish and the odd turtle.
Practical
Coordinate from Dive Carriacou's published dive-site map. Beginners and experienced divers; occasional slight current. Ocean Pulse (2021) lists five reef sites and two wrecks around Mabouya, with most reef sites around 14-18 m. Inside the Sandy Island/Oyster Bed MPA: a US$3.50 per day MPA fee is added by the dive shop (Dive Carriacou).
