London Bridge Dive (St Giles)
11° 21.2′ N · 60° 31.4′ W · approximate
An advanced Atlantic dive at the St Giles Islands off Tobago's north-east tip: you drop through a deep, narrow passage under a natural rock arch, with nurse sharks, tarpon, turtles and walls of purple sea fans.
Practical
Position is approximate, beside Giles Island, derived from the OpenStreetMap island position and the DAN description 'next to St. Giles Island'. DAN: entered at about 50 ft, boulders and overhangs from 50 to 80 ft beyond; advanced level; backroll entry from a live boat because there are almost no dive moorings in Tobago. Big Atlantic swell and current: operators only dive it in suitable conditions. Do not take a yacht in close to the St Giles Islands.
Best for
Advanced divers wanting Tobago's most dramatic site
