Pirates Bay Beach
11° 19.8′ N · 60° 33.0′ W
A beach tucked under the forest at the north end of Man-o-War Bay, an easy dinghy ride from the moorings, with the bay's snorkelling zone just off it.
Practical
Position is the beach (OpenStreetMap). ERIC's map marks a snorkelling and diving zone off the beach between the mooring area and shore; keep dinghies slow. Cruisers report great swimming and snorkelling here (Noonsite 2020). A 2015 report noted a freshwater spring on the beach where cruisers filled jerry cans; treat the water before drinking. Fishermen use the cove: do not anchor in it.
Best for
Snorkelling and a quiet beach right off the moorings
