Money Bay (Norman Island)
18° 19.0′ N · 64° 35.9′ W · approximate
A tiny anchorage on Norman Island's south side with room for one or two boats, named for the island's treasure history.
Practical
Approximate position: placed in the south-shore cove opposite Benures Bay (Yacht Warriors gives 0.3 nm between them), from the OpenStreetMap coastline; verify before entering. Yacht Warriors (2024): sand and grass bottom, set the anchor well; trade-wind swell wraps in, so do not stay with any southerly component in the wind. Visible from the island's hiking trails. Noonsite mentions a 'fairly protected' anchorage on the southern coast. Day stop in most conditions.
Best for
Solitude in settled weather
Season
Only in settled easterlies with no south in the wind
