Lambert Beach (Lambert Bay)
18° 27.1′ N · 64° 34.9′ W · approximate
A long, wide north-shore beach on Tortola's east end below the Lambert Beach Resort, with moderate surf and a hotel that welcomes lunch and dinner guests.
Practical
Position approximate: placed just offshore of the Lambert Beach polygon on OpenStreetMap (way 464098242, beach centre 18.4503, -64.5808); not checked against a chart. Wikivoyage: a very long beach with moderate surf; two signposted roads lead down, one to the hotel and one to the beach, and the hotel takes lunch and dinner guests. No moorings or documented anchorage were found: north-facing and open to winter ground swell, so most charterers visit by taxi. Day stop by boat only in settled conditions with no north swell, anchoring clear of any swim area.
Best for
A quiet east-end beach and resort lunch
Season
Best May–Oct or calm winter days; avoid in north swell
