Fajardo provisioning (supermarkets, Walmart)

18° 20.7′ N · 65° 40.5′ W

Fajardo's big-box strip on PR-3 is where charter crews do the main shop: Econo and a Walmart Supercenter at Fajardo Shopping Center, 24-hour Pueblo and SuperMax, and Ralph's Food Warehouse, with Sam's Club and Costco on the drive from San Juan.

Practical

Position is Econo supermarket at Fajardo Shopping Center (OpenStreetMap). Per Sail Caribe's 2026 FAQ (all within a 5 to 10 minute drive of Puerto del Rey): Pueblo Supermarket, open 24 hours year-round, well stocked including wine and spirits (OpenStreetMap places a Pueblo at 18.3397 N, 65.6573 W); SuperMax, open 24 hours, well stocked including wine and spirits; Econo, Fajardo Shopping Center, well stocked including wine and spirits; Walmart Supercenter, Fajardo Shopping Center, well stocked but limited wine and spirits (Wikivoyage: 150 Carr 940 Ste 180, +1 787-860-1020); Ralph's Food Warehouse on Road 3; Amigo near Puerto del Rey. Not all supermarkets open early on Sundays and holidays, so shop the day before or use the San Juan metro stores near the airport. Prices in US$. Noonsite (2017) notes laundries at the three main marinas. Propane: Noonsite reports Alvarado Gaz in Luquillo will fill butane bottles with propane (dated; verify).
