Noonsite (January 2022): after the 2017 hurricanes Grand Caribbean Marinas (Bacalia Group) acquired Marina Puerto Chico, Sea Lover's Marina (now The Reserve), Villa Marina (now Renaissance Villa Marina) and the Sardinera dry stack, more than 2,200 wet and dry spaces in all. Coast Pilot 5: the private marinas at Playa Sardinera lie inside a 700-ft breakwater marked by a light at its seaward end, with reported depths of 8 to 12 ft to the berths; gasoline, diesel, water, ice and marine supplies available. Noonsite (2017) mentions a fuel dock at Puerto Chico, northeast of Villa Marina.
