Position is approximate: the Villa Marina Yacht Basin point (OpenStreetMap), because the shop is in the Villa Marina Shopping Center beside the marina (987 Calle A, Suite 108, Fajardo, PR 00738) and the center itself is not mapped. Safe Harbor Puerto del Rey still lists Sea Ventures as an on-site business, and older reviews (Undercurrent, September 2017) describe boats leaving from Puerto del Rey, so confirm the meeting point when booking. Company site (2026): Fajardo Morning Reef Dive Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, check-in 7:30 am (Discover Scuba 7 am), depart 8:30 am, back about 1 pm; the captain picks two of about six reef sites around the small coral cays on the morning, based on sea state; spurs and grooves, sand channels and a few shallow walls or ledges, 15 to 80 ft, visibility about 20 to 75 ft; rays and turtles regularly, nurse sharks occasionally. Prices (2026): certified two-tank US$130, rental gear about US$30 to US$40 extra (the page gives both), Discover Scuba US$185; Culebra two-tank US$155; Vieques two-tank US$155 (check in 7:45 am, depart 9 am, back about 3 pm; sites 40 to 100 ft); one-tank night dive US$99. Bring certification card, and cash for the Fajardo marine reserve fee, which booking agents list as not included (amount not stated). Boat ride about 27 minutes to the Fajardo sites, 45 to Vieques, 1 hour to Culebra. Sea Ventures counts about 8 sites off Fajardo, 3 at Culebra and 10 at Vieques. A useful option for charter crews, since Sail Caribe prohibits scuba diving from its bareboats.
