Dewey Town Dock

18° 18.2′ N · 65° 18.0′ W

The public town dock at the head of Ensenada Honda in Dewey (locally just 'Culebra'): the free dinghy landing, the CBP reporting point, and a two-minute walk to groceries, the bank and the ferry.

Practical

Position: OpenStreetMap 'Town Dock' pier (node 3403015400) on the Ensenada Honda side of the canal bridge. The Virgintino guide (about 2015) says you can tie your dinghy here free and that the Customs office is a short walk from this dock; CBP lists the Culebra reporting station as 'Dewey Dock, Ensenada Honda' (phone (787) 742-3531; alternate (787) 863-0950). Lock the dinghy. Groceries (Colmado Milka, Superette Mayra), the Total fuel station and Banco Popular are within a few blocks (OpenStreetMap). Coast Pilot says no fresh water is available for vessels; ask locally.
