Ya Nui Bay Anchorage (Nai Harn north headland)
7° 47.1′ N · 98° 17.3′ E
What the Southeast Asia Pilot calls Ya Nui Bay: a deep, rocky cleft in the mountainous north headland of Nai Harn, with a small beach and restaurant ashore. The Pilot calls it a throwback to Phuket as it was about 40 years ago.
Practical
About 12 m, rocky bottom; room for only two or three boats to swing (SEAP). Note the name clash: the well-known Ya Nui Beach with the Koh Man snorkel lies south of Nai Harn near Promthep Cape. Use this coordinate, not the beach, for the anchorage.
Best for
A tiny, quiet cove for one or two boats
